A Servers/Networks engineer with at least 3-4 years of experience in the field, willing to travel to various international destinations (mainly Europe), is required to work as a Software Consultant for an international Software Vendor in the OSS (Operational Support Systems) sector.



The successful candidate will attend an English-spoken training course in France on the Vendor’s software suite, leading to certification. He/She will then become part of a project team that will work in various international projects to implement the Vendor’s solutions at large telecom operators, service providers and enterprises with extensive network infrastructures. The candidate will be based in Greece and will travel from Monday to Friday the majority of the time, with all travel expenses paid. Excellent remuneration package.





Responsibilities

· Develop tailor-made solutions based on the Software Vendor products and integration with existing IT infrastructure

· Investigate customer-specific requirements

· Analyze the clients’ existing IT infrastructure

· Report to the Project manager and ProServ Delivery Manager



Required Education

· An Engineering or Science Bachelor degree from a Greek (AEI or TEI) or EU university related to electronics, telecommunications, networks or servers

· Certification in English (First Certificate is a minimum)



Technology Know-how (Software/Hardware, Operating systems)

· Systems: Solaris and Windows Server administration

· Database knowledge : Oracle and SQL

· SNMP / MIB

· Good understanding of LAN/WAN Networking Technologies (IP / MPLS / Frame Relay / ATM / Carrier Ethernet)

· HTML/XML

· General knowledge on Internet Security

· 2 years of software development experience is appreciated. Preference on Perl and Java
